let's start here...
Sit in lotus or crossed-leg pose with proper alignment.
let your spine draw up, crown of the head reaches to the sky
pull your sits bones out (with your hands) so those bones are straight on the ground (best as possible), perineum to the ground as well, best you can
drop your shoulders, let your arms & legs relax, palms face up
pull your belly in
chest reaches diagonally up…LIFT
now B R E A T H E . . . . .
Benefits of Lotus Pose:
Opens up the hips
Stretches the ankles and knees
Calms the brain
Increases awareness and attentiveness
Keeps the spine straight
Helps develop good posture
Eases menstrual discomfort and sciatica
Helps keeps joints and ligaments flexible
Aren’t these BENEFITS amazing
so I ask,
when was the last time you practiced padmasana?

how about… you take this posture and sit with IT for 5 minutes?
